Beginners

The club supplies all the equipment you need on the course and we have bows to match all sizes and physical abilities. It does not matter if you are not very fit.  Archery is a sport that can be enjoyed by all ages. That said, for safety reasons, we do have a lower age limit of 11 for beginners courses.  You must do a beginners course to be allowed to join a GNAS affiliated club.

We welcome disabled archers and have the coaches trained to deal with most disabilities but please feel free to ring and discuss your needs before signing up for a course.  We also welcome archers from all ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

Having successfully completed the course you have the opportunity to join the club. You will be welcomed into the club and the club coaches will continue to help you improve. You will be able to continue to use club equipment for up to another 3 months so there is no urgency to get your own kit.
